Supplements that actually have evidence behind them

So tired of supplement companies claiming everything cures everything. The list of supplements with REAL evidence is pretty short: Vitamin D, Omega-3, Magnesium, Creatine, Probiotics (strain-specific).

Everything else is either poorly studied or the effect sizes are tiny. Change my mind.

Pretty solid list. I’d add ashwagandha for stress/cortisol — there are actually decent RCTs supporting it.

  2. The creatine for brain health thing is really interesting. There’s a study showing it improved cognitive performance under sleep deprivation. As a new dad who never sleeps I’m very interested lol.

  3. vitamin D is the most underrated one on this list. i was severely deficient and had no idea. once i started supplementing my energy levels and mood improved dramatically
