Sleep is the real performance enhancer
Quote from Marcus J. on November 20, 2025, 6:00 amI've been obsessing over my workout program, supplements, protein intake etc. and completely ignoring the fact that I average 5.5 hours of sleep a night. Started prioritizing sleep 3 weeks ago (8pm phone away, 10pm lights out, 6am wake) and the difference in my training is INSANE. Stronger, better recovery, less hungry, better mood.
Sleep is free and its probably the biggest needle mover most guys are ignoring.

Quote from Jess T. on November 20, 2025, 12:15 pmThis is so true. I used to pride myself on being a "5 hours is all I need" guy. Turns out 5 hours is all I was getting, not all I needed. When I finally started sleeping 7-8 hours my lifts went up, my body composition improved, and my brain fog disappeared.
The phone away at 8pm is key. That blue light and doom scrolling was my biggest sleep killer.

Quote from Tom B. on November 21, 2025, 8:00 amGot an Oura ring for Christmas and the data was eye opening. My deep sleep was like 30 minutes a night. Made some changes (cooler room, no alcohol, magnesium before bed) and got it up to 90+ minutes. Feel like a different person.
Sleep is the foundation everything else is built on.

Quote from Dave K. on November 21, 2025, 7:30 pmThe hardest part is that sleep feels "unproductive." Like I could be doing something useful with those hours. But the reality is that everything you do on insufficient sleep is 50-70% quality at best. Sleeping more actually makes you more productive, not less.
